help with rent

Over theyears we have helped others down on their luck and needing a helping hand, so it is hard for us to say we need help. My husband and I ((we also have our unexpected miracle that is six months old) and we are going to be evicted if we do not come up with rent. two weeks before our baby was born my husband was laid off from work and he did find work within a month but then I went back to work to be laid off after two days due to downsizing, went on unemployment which was a little bit of help then obtained employment during which time both of our vehicles broke down. We had to have transportation which stretched our budget unexpectedly then other unexpected espenses came up. Then right before christmas I became unemployed again, but not eligible to go on unemployment again. I have looked everywhere but in the meantime we are sinking fast. If we are evicted we will still owe rent because we signed a new lease. We have been at our residence for two years and not until now have struggled. We are providing for our child all the essentials but need help paying the rent for December and January now. We are willing to pay back any monies to help us out, please someone help us, as I said it is hard to ask for help, but we need a miracle big time here. With Christmas time there are no funds available at the local resources and we are running out of options. Thank you for prayers and good thoughts>

please consider my family

DESPERATE! My name is Bonnie. I am a single mother of 4 children. I have a job. But it has slowed way down and I haven't worked in over a week. And when I was working, it was only 2 days a week. My rent and power bills are due, and I have nothing to give them. All I want is for my children to have a roof over their heads for the holidays. My rent is 471 and my power is 100 dollars. I have tried all organizations in my tiny town, including churches, salvation army, and so on. There just isn't any funding. If anyone knows of anything else I can try, or can offer some kind of help, please let me know. I appreciate u even reading this. I haven't even ever asked for help like this before. My phone is 406 861 0890. Call or text. Thank you Bonnie

About Krissy85

We need help paying our bills. Paying rent. Buying clothes for all three of us. We need a bigger car. We need help with gas money. We need help with doctor bills current and future. I hate that we are having so much trouble just trying to live day to day. My family consists of my fiance, me and our daughter. I have'nt been able to find a job, my fiance is a full time student. He collects unemployment, but child support is taken out of it so we live off of about 1000 dollars a month. It really sucks not being able to get my daughter the things she needs.

Are you paying other people bills

I was talking to a friend of mine and she said, as she was sitting right beside me, exhausted. Sally goes to me, “I have to work tonight”.

Huh! I thought you just worked the job we are at. Sally said, no, I have three jobs. A full time job, a part-time job and a job if I need hours, they give them to me…

I said to her, that is a lot of hours. Sally says, that she works about 70 hours a week. I asked her why? Well, Sally says, “ I have to pay my bills, then my sons bills and I’m helping my daughter too. I asked her, “How old are your kids?” She said that one is 26 and the other is 32….

I giggled and asked her, why are you paying their bills?  Sally tells me, they can’t find jobs. So, for how long have they been looking? About 5 years…

The last thing she says to me, I’m broke to…

I want to ask everyone, How many of you are paying other people bills instead of yours? How many people are stuck in this situation? How many of you are so in debt because you are paying other people’s bills?

The average American works 41.5 hours a week. The average person over 50 works 52 hours per week. Now if you have adult kids, that are over 18 years old, why are you paying their bills?

As Sally and I, deeply started talking about bill and debt. 60% of her bills are not hers. That is 60%. Now what is wrong with this picture?

There is a lot of ways we can take this conversation. And I’m sure you are helping your kids to be better adults in more than many ways. But there has to be a point when you need to stop.

I help my family a lot with money but I’ve also learned when to say no. No, mean NO!

Sally is in debt because of her adult kids not pitching in to help in her situation. Sally wants to retire and wants to start taking it easy in life and start enjoying life more. But because of how her adult kids are using her. She just doesn’t know what to do.

After a couple of weeks of talking to her and she finally got her strength up and kick her kids out and told them to start growing up. She has quit her part-time job and is starting to live life again.

So is the debt that you have building up is it because you are paying other people bills? Can you really tell the person you are paying their bills, to go get a job? Are you ready to get out debt?

Which bill should you pay first every month

I’ve been receiving a lot of emails, notes and phone call from people wondering which bill to pay and in what order. I thought to myself that is a good question. Of course, I need to stress that all bills need to be paid but sometime you can be so far behind, you don’t which to pay or should you. Let me put your mind at ease.

I referenced, two credit counselors, and one book and my personal money problems that I’ve had in the past and we came up with this. This should work for the majority of the people but not everyone. We are hoping it will give you at least an idea or a concept to think of what is important to you and no one else.

Pay yourself first; you must start putting money away. I’m not talking about $550 or $110, but you need to put something away. Put a dollar up or a nickel or something. Put it in a jar a can or the bank. But open saving and put money away. Now, a lot of you reading this are going crazy because you might be saying. I don’t have money to put a way. Oh, yes you do. You just need to put something away. How much was that soda you bought? How much was the local newspaper? Why did you buy gum? If you can buy these items, you have money to put away.

Then you need to pay rent or mortgage, this is unexplanatory. You must have a roof over your shoulder at all times. Without a roof, how are you going to sleep and cook and be real to yourself? Some people have leaky roofs or old kitchen sink but without a roof over your head. You will not be able to live.

Grocery bill, this logical, you have to eat. You have to put good nutritional meals in your body. When you eat well, you think well. And this is what helps you be better in everything.

Utilities, such as lights, water and gas. You have to keep warm or cool, be able to cook and bathe. This will help you feel good and if you feel good, you go do more.

Phone or Internet services, this will help you to communicate to the outside world. Now, sometimes, you don’t need these services. But it depends on the nature of what you do. So some thinking is needed here before you pay this.

Car payments, if you have one but if you don’t have a car payment. Great, keep it that way until you find the need for a car. Get rid of this bill fast. I know you can do it. Reduce, cut or get rid of as soon as possible. Now, we put Phone and Internet over car. Because you can go without a car, you can walk. But sometime this is needed. You have to work on this and think well.

Gas & Maintenance money, without a good working car, how are you going to get around? But remember, if you don’t have a car, you don’t need this bill.

Loans, you need to make arrangements to get these loans paid off. Loans are a little harder to get away from paying. But they have to be paid off. Get the loans paid.

Credit Cards, they can threaten you but they can’t take your life a way. So put them on the bottom of your list. If you a dollar left to pay them, then do it. Something is better than nothing.

Now, I’m sure some of you have more bills or fewer bills. You have to work them in order of important. You have to work with yourself and see what will work and what will not work.

Lay all of your bills down and ask yourself, what can you PAY off this month? Which one is more important than the other? What bill can be paid next month? And of course ask yourself, why do I have so many bills?

Look at these questions above, and see where the money goes. Sometimes you can find money without even thinking about it, sometimes you can see you have a lot of money but you don’t see it.  I’ve come to the fact that my money is more than I think I have but I don’t see it that way because if goes so fast that I don’t have the time to enjoy it.

I want you to take all of the last 6 months, and add up how much money went out, per month. Now, once you do that. See, you have money….

Making ends meet

Hey all just wanted to say my prayers are with those of you that are struggling just to survive. I thought I had it rough but see now I'm so blessed compared to some of you. I wish I could help every single one of you, but of course that's not possible. May you find a way and the will to keep going. You're in my thoughts and prayers. I will start my college classes in June and am thankful for that. Good luck to all of you

From bad to worse

Well if things can't get any worse.  My job is only paying me $6.50 per hour.  My roommate was fired the Monday before christmas.  We have no Idea how we are going to make rent because I have been in and out of the hospital so my paycheck is not going to be what it normally is.  I have been teaching first communion classes on Thursday night.  I may have to stop that because I can't afford to get there.   I don't know what I am going to do.  I would go back on disability but I don't know if they would give it to me.  Oh also I just found out that I have MS on top of my seizures and weekly Migraines.
